I would love to come to the reunion but at this time I am not sure if will be possible. I enjoying checking this site to see what is happening. Looking at old familiar names brings back memories

Jim Bryan
I won't be able to make it, but it will be interesting to read about some of those who did or who left info.

Jim became a biologist and has lived for 40 years in British Columbia, mainly in the Okanagan Valley which is 2 mountain ranges inland from
the coast. Jim did his B.Sc. in Fisheries and Wildlife Management at UofM and his Ph.D. in Behavioural Ecology at UBC. Jim met his wife Anthea at UBC where she did her M.Sc. in Ecology. They have 2 daughters both of whom are also biologists; one is doing her M.Sc. on wolves and the other her B.Sc. and is researching warblers as this summer's job.

Over the years Jim worked for Canada Fisheries, B.C. Environment, and Okanagan University College. He is now on pension but takes contract work occasionally. Jim usually hikes or snowshoes one day a week with a group of friends and he enjoys backpacking into the mountains for a week or two whenever possible. He skis several days a week in the winter and paddles whitewater kayaks or canoes once or twice a week spring and summer. Jim does volunteer work with several conservation organizations locally and is on the list of CESO volunteers who help Canada's First Peoples and third world countries with projects of their choosing.

Jim and Anthea attended the class reunion in 1990. Jim won't be attending in 2006 as he plans to spend most of September canoeing some 300 miles down the Nahanni River in the Northwest Territories.

I would love to come but I now live and work in Mesa, Arizona . I am coming to MN for son's wedding on Sept. 9 and won't make it back there for Sept. 23. We will also be missing my husband's 50 year reunion which is actually on the day of our son's wedding. How sad. Husband is St. Louis Park graduate.

Say Hi to all attending alumni. As choreographer for Tapaires and majorette for RHS Band, I have many friends that graduated both before and after our class .....the illustrious class of '61.

Unfortunately Dianne and I will not be able to attend the reunion. We both hope that all of our "OLD" classmates will have a good time reliving the old days and wish that we could be there with you all. Dianne is a housewife and grandmother and I "retired" for about two days and then became the Safety Manager for a rail tranportation company in Gillette. Let's hope we make to the 50th without losing anymore people. Keep in touch!!

I've enjoyed seeing the names of classmates from the past. I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend.

I am in Flagstaff, Arizona with my two granddaughters and family. --I would have loved to have been there!!! It sounds like a lot of fun and has brought back a lot of memories. Go Spartans! Have a great time. I will miss seeing you all!!!

Unfortunately, I cannot come to the reunion as I will be back in India in September.

After graduation I joined the Army and spent two and a half years in Germany. I guess I never got the wanderlust out of my blood even after 31 years of staying put and working for the State of Minnesota. After retiring from state service I joined a company that works internationally with developing countries. My specialty is governmental budgeting, something I learned after 14 years with the Department of Finance in Minnesota. I have been a resident, long-term international consultant for the past 6 years and have worked in Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan, Croatia, and, now, India. This project will last another two years, and then, well, we will see what that brings.

I will be back in Minnesota for three weeks in August to catch up with my family, three kids and eight grandchildren.

I wish you all the best at the reunion.
